General Transmissions

Brought my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek in due to intermittent transmission slipping. Steve was able to diagnose an intermittent issue with pertinent questions and took the time to explain the transmission issue(s) and possible solutions. The repair was timely and the car is runner like new! Nice to know that there are knowledgeable mechanics out there! Thank you Steve.

The owner knows his stuff. More than that, he actually cares about his customers. He fixed my transmission almost a year ago. I called him recently with a transmission question, which he answered knowledgeably. Then, he called up the dealership to check if there were any recall issues, and reported back to me. My F150 was made for the Canadian market, so the recall found didn't apply. But, it was tremendous to get a call from him. I'll always recommend GT.

Steve and Michael quality work. I had to get my transmission fully rebuilt and they quoted me a fair price and got it done in a couple days. Somehow during that time my side passenger mirror got broken. Steve and Michael recognized that it happened while my car was in there care and they immediately offered to replace it for free. If you're looking for honest guys that do good work, look no further and go to general transmissions.
